Email, orders, and machine identifiers.

This policy states which records xfpcloud.com handles while opening an account, placing an order, taking payment, connecting a machine, and answering support, and what those records are used for. Kinds of data unrelated to those matters are not listed here.

Account email and password

Registration, sign-in, and reset all start from the email. The email is the account identifier. If a password is set, it is used to check identity. The page does not display a password already stored.

A code is sent to that email and applies only to that registration, sign-in, or reset. The message is the code itself. It does not attach a link that can be clicked.

Orders, invoices, and payment

An order stores the selected machine, memory, disks, bandwidth, extra IPv4 count, system, and billing term, plus the invoice amount, status, order number, and payment date that follow. Those records deliver the machine, reconcile the bill, and are shown to that account in the console.

The console lists only paid primary orders and paid invoices. Without a sign-in, the current order stays in the browser and can be lost if site data is cleared.

Payment is completed on the page of the selected payment method. This site keeps the invoice amount and the payment result. The page does not collect a card number. After payment, visit statistics record the order number and amount, to check that the purchase finished.

Machine identifiers

After delivery, the order is stored with the host name, port, username, login password, and expiry date. The facility is recorded as Tokyo, Japan. Those identifiers are provided only to the account that owns the order. The password is masked by default and can be shown or copied in the console. Linux corresponds to SSH. Windows corresponds to RDP.

Files on the disks are stored by the tenant. This policy does not treat disk contents as account records.

Identifiers in the browser

This browser keeps the sign-in credential and a random identifier used to tell carts apart. The credential contains the email, the account number, and a session token. On return from the payment page, the current amount due is held for that visit.

After a language is chosen in the header, that choice is stored on this browser and used only to keep the same choice on the next visit. Clearing site data requires a new sign-in. Those identifiers do not, by themselves, open a new account.

Visit statistics

The site records whether a page was opened, and clicks on navigation and buttons, in order to see how each page is used. When a sign-in is present, statistics include the account number so the visit matches that account. Visit statistics also leave an identifier in the browser, to tell a return visit from a new one.

The count is kept by this site. It is not sold, and the email is not assembled into a list for anyone else.

Tickets and mail

Ticket text and replies in the console, and mail sent to support@xfpcloud.com, are kept so the same matter can be answered again. The content stays within what that assistance requires.

Retention and correction

The email, orders, invoices, machine identifiers, and tickets are kept while the related service relationship continues, for delivery, reconciliation, and replies. This page does not state one deletion period for all of them.
